Karen Kersey oversees the day-to-day operations of the dms companies.  Originally from Canada, Karen relocated to the Cayman Islands in 2000.

Karen’s diversified professional background lends itself well to overseeing the portfolio of businesses that dms operates in its conglomerate. Prior to joining dms, Karen gained extensive business acumen in a variety of industries including experience in new business development, tax services for the private sector, management for the hospitality industry, and accounting for the manufacturing sector.

Karen graduated with honors from Dalhouse University having obtained a Bachelor of Commerce degree in the co-op program. She is also actively involved in the local community, particularly investing time in the youth. Karen is a Junior Achievement advisor, a participant in the Mentoring Cayman program and is a Cayman Hospice volunteer.
